    MEM30305 Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade- RPL

    The RPL pathway is appropriate for candidates who have previously attained skills and knowledge and who, when enrolling in qualifications, seek to shorten the duration of their training and either continue or commence working with the qualification. This will include the following groups of people:

    • Existing workers;
    • Individuals with overseas qualifications; and
    • Recent migrants with established work histories.

    Irrelevant of the participant’s personal circumstances, including those mentioned above, the participant will be required to demonstrate that they have a current set of skills and knowledge the shows that they meet the requirements of the training package.

    Certificate III will equip you with the skills and knowledge to become a fully qualified fabrication tradesperson in the areas of fabrication and Boilermaking.

    Candidate Self-Evaluation

    1 Eligibility

    In order to comply with the VET Quality Framework standards, a client of Kangaroo Training must be able to demonstrate a medium level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy currency. This is achieved by providing a minimum 70 points of qualification evidence as listed in the LLN Points Indicator below.

    Self assessment

     

    We will send you self-assessment form for free. You must justify your skills & obtain eligible points.

    The Training Package specifies that the qualification must include:

    • completion of all 12 core units of competency listed below, and
    • completion of Group A Fabrication stream units to the value of at least 40 points, and
    • completion of units from Group B Certificate III Trade specialisation units to bring the total value to at least 73 points

    Step 2 – Interview and Questioning 

    To proceed step 2 candidate must fill the enrollment form & pay the first installmet $1000 to proceed your application. Please find the fee structure into cost section.

    After enrolling Assessor will contact you for questioning regarding your resume, skills, evidence & experience& he will record your response. 

    STEP 3 – Demonstration/Observation of Practical Tasks

    You need to demonstration/ observation of theoretical& practical task/ Knowledge with required evidence of certification, photos, employer letter, prctical examitation, certification etc

    Step 4 – Supporting Evidence/Third Party Report Referance check 

    In this step we will check your experience, skills, knowladge which you provide us through your referee’s interview.

    Final step – Issue Qualification

    After completion of successfully assessment & paying final instalment $1499. You will issue Statement of Attainment.

    Course Outcome

    On successful completion of this course you receive a Statement of Attainment. The units in this course form part of MEM40105 – Certificate IV in Engineering.

    Course Requirements

    Personal protective equipment:

    • safety glasses – students must wear these at all times in the workshop or any eye hazard area as specified by the teacher
    • protective footwear – covered uppers, capped toe’s and non-slip shoes to AS2210
    • hand protection – long leather welding gloves to AS2161
    • hair protection – long hair (i.e. hair below collar length) must be restrained (hat, headband, or hair tie) within the workshop environment
    • clothing – overalls or long cotton trousers and a long sleeved cotton drill shirt are required to be worn at all times when undertaking practical training
    • Student USI number

    Students failing to meet these minimum standards of dress will not be permitted entry to practical classes.
