This Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency is accepted as evidence by QBCC in regard to the business knowledge requirements to be a licensed subcontractor. This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to identify and comply with all regulations affecting a business.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT TEST & TAG
This course gives you real experience of testing & tagging.
You are not doing your course in a classroom with testing toys. In this course you will get real experience in the workshop testing & tagging equipment which you are going to test more often.
The course meets the requirements of both the Australian Standards and the WHS Regulations Code of Practice ‘Managing Electrical Risks in the Workplace’ which states inspection and testing of electrical equipment should only be carried out by a competent person who has the relevant knowledge, skills and test instruments to carry out the relevant inspection and testing.

How do I know it is nationally recognised?
We issued Nationally Accredited Course & report all student data to ASQA (Australian Skill Quality Authority).
When you report to national register, ASQA auditor check all training activities of each student to make sure they have received appropriate Training. Auditor check Performance Evidence, Knowledge Evidence and Assessment Conditions.
You will find your training details on your transcript. (All RTO report their whole year data from January to December at next year February end. USI take 2-4 months to process data. If you finish your training mid of the year then you must wait to see your training details next year April)
