Students with experience will able to go through RPL path.
RPL path does required evidence of experience such as employer letter, work photos, referees, practical & theoretical skill & knowledge to perform the competency of the units.

Students with no experience will choose full course option.

You will learn all three MIG, TIG & STICK welding processes, or, one process. It will depend on the course you choose.
You will also learn how to set up the welding machine, joint preparation & to do simple weld Example Butt, Lap joints in down hand position.

Read More & Select Course Our Intermediate Welding Course unit of competency has been developed for an Fabrication Trade Personal.
This course is designed for someone with either experience or no experience in the trade.
*Note: Non experienced people need to choose the full course option.

If you are already good experience in the industry then you will able to go through RPL path.
RPL path does required evidence of experience such as employer letter, work photos, referees, practical & theoretical skill & knowledge to perform the competency of the units.
 
You will learn one process in this course: Joint preparation, positional welding, example butt, lap joints in down hand, horizontal & vertical position.
Weld quality would typically conform to AS 1554 General Purpose, and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) or equivalent.

Read More & Select Course Our advance Welding Courses unit of competency defines the skills and knowledge required to carry out advanced welding using MIG, TIG & STICK welding process.

Welds are associated with a range of structural sections and/or plate and/or pipe for general fabrication using ferrous Or non-ferrous materials.
Weld quality would typically conform to AS 1554 Structural Purpose or equivalent.
This course is designed for a student with or without experience.
Note: Non experienced people will choose full course option.

You will learn one process in this course: Joint configuration, positional welding Example Butt, Lap joints in horizontal, overhead & vertical position.
Weld quality would typically conform to AS 1554 Special Purpose.

Read More & Select Course This unit of competency defines the skills and knowledge required to prepare and produce welds to code standards using FLUX CORE, STICK, MIG and TIG and applies to the production of butt and fillet welds in the positions on a range of materials.

Welds produced to the standard of this unit would typically conform to AS 1210-2010 Pressure vessels, AS 4041-2006 (R2016) Pressure piping, and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) IX, or equivalent.
This unit, in conjunction with unit MEM05026 Apply welding principles, may satisfy the requirements of AS 1796-2006 (R2016) Certification of welders and welding supervisors.
Students need to complete MEM05026 Apply Welding Principles (Theory), PLUS the relevant practical unit for the ticket they are undertaking.
